What exactly does Quesly do?

Quesly turns your PDFs, manuals, policies, product catalogs and web pages into a searchable, conversational chatbot that answers questions instantly on your website or help center.

How does it work behind the scenes?

You share your content (PDFs/Docs/URLs/exported KB). We clean and serve answers using OpenAI LLMs (e.g., GPT-3/GPT-4 or cost-efficient minis).

What file types can I upload?

PDFs, Word/Docs, and links (public or authenticated KB exports). If you have something else, send it our way — we can usually convert it.

How long does setup take?

Typically 1–2 days: 1) quick goal-setting call, 2) you upload data, 3) we train/tune and send you an embed code.

How do I add it to my site?

Paste one line of JavaScript (floating widget) or use an <iframe> to place it on any page/CMS. No heavy engineering needed.

Can it handle big catalogs or technical specs?

Yes. Quesly is built to scan large catalogs and long PDFs (e.g., “What are the dimensions for product CR-123?”). It retrieves the exact passage and summarizes clearly.

How accurate are the answers?

Very strong on content you provide. We also add prompt guardrails and can show source citations to reduce hallucinations. For edge cases, the bot is tuned to say it’s unsure rather than guess.

Can I customize tone, branding, and the welcome message?

Absolutely. We match your brand tone, colors, logo, and opening prompts. Custom instructions per company are part of setup.

Which languages are supported?

Most major languages work out of the box. Provide content in those languages for best results.

Is my data private and secure?

Yes. Your documents are stored securely; traffic is encrypted in transit. We use trusted cloud and OpenAI APIs; your data is not used to train public models. We can delete all data on request.

How do updates work when we change documents?

Upload the new file (or URL). We re-index only what changed so the bot reflects updates quickly.

Are there usage limits?

We apply fair-use limits sized for typical SMB traffic. If you expect high volume, we’ll right-size limits or move you to a custom tier.

Can the bot hand off to a human?

Yes. We can add a “contact us” action or collect email/phone when the bot is unsure or the user asks for help.

Can I get analytics?

We can provide conversation summaries, top questions, and content gaps so you know what customers ask and what to improve.

What if we want to self-host or use a specific model?

We can deploy to your cloud and/or lock to specific OpenAI models (or cost-optimized minis) based on budget and compliance needs.
